Premiering at the Adelaide Film Festival in 2013, and then airing on the ABC Artscape in the same year, this Documentary TV Movie shows the life and exploits of Muriel Matters’ life through archival images, interviews, dramatic reconstruction and animated sequences.
The film explores how this extraordinary woman became lost in history and reveals what her story tells us about the links between art, politics, and women’s rights in England and Australia.
