
Doctor William Arnold Porter (8 September 1871 – 5 October 1949) was a British-American Dentist practising primarily in Greater London, and husband of Muriel Matters.
Short Biography:
Porter was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and moved to Wilmington, Delaware, where he worked with Dr FC Smith at the Wilmington Dental Office on Market Street.
In the early 1900s, Porter worked as a Dental Assistant in Leicester, UK, before marrying his first wife, Mabel Buchanan, from Wilmington in 1903, and continued working in Leicester. In 1910, Porter moved to London and began working as a Dentist.
In 1912, Porter divorced his first wife, Mabel Buchanan, and in 1914, Porter married his second wife, Muriel Lilah Matters.
Porter died in 1949 at the age of 79.
