‘How Muriel Matters Became a Suffragist’ – SA History Festival Event

Is there a better way to be introduced to Muriel Matters than by listening to her story inside the walls of South Australian Parliament? At an event for the South Australian History Festival Secretary of the Muriel Matters Society Inc., Frances Bedford MP, is doing just that.

There has already been one talk by Frances as apart of the South Australian History Festival on 7/5 (see below) but there is still one final talk to take place on Monday, 20 May from 1.30 to 2.30pm at Parliament House. Take advantage of this FREE opportunity to see inside Parliament House and hear some fascinating tales about our pioneering South Australian suffragists who worked so hard to win the vote. Bookings through the Muriel Matters Society are essential as space is strictly limited.
