As part of South Australia’s History Festival there is an exciting FREE event to take place in St Peters… It promises to be a fascinating afternoon where Frances Bedford MP, Secretary of the Muriel Matters Society Inc., will talk not only about the significance of Muriel Matters but her own personal journey along the way. To enliven the afternoon there will be a number of key objects from the Society’s collection on display including suffrage badges, cameos, postcards, newspaper clippings, and historical books. Feel free to bring friends and family along who might find an afternoon filled with suffrage history and politics of interest. Again, many thanks to Denise Schumann for her work and enthusiasm in making this event happen.

Dates and time: Saturday 11 May 2019, 1.30-3.30pm

Location: Banquet Hall, St Peters Town Hall Complex, 101 Payneham Rd, St Peters
